House of Gary Pty Ltd was formed by Karina Astrup (née Averlon-Thomas) to produce documentaries, corporate videos, tvc’s, animation, graphics design, websites and facilitate general marketing services.

Karina has had 9 years experience working both within and consulting to a
variety of boutique creative/production agencies and directly to clients in NZ, Australia and the UK.

She has worked as a producer, production manager and accountant with a number of broadcast documentaries, large scale projects/campaigns, corporate videos, TVC's, mixed media etc. She is used to running budgets and projects like a tight ship.

Her broad understanding of both sides of the production fence and financial fundamentals give her the unique ability to blend her skills to whatever is required and communicate clearly with depth of understanding to both clients and production folk. She has had a lifelong passion for production, the arts and communication on all levels, leading her to embrace the industry with great enthusiasm and energy.
